- Randy Jackson gives Melinda her pro props, "a pro singer does exactly what you do every week...you actually are living the words... That was da bomb again!!"
- Paula Abdul applauds Melinda for her charisma and the way she tells a story in song, "It's fun. You're so joyful when you're singing."
- Simon Cowell doesn't think Melinda was at her best tonight, but nonetheless he tells her that "vocally... you were, as usual, outstanding." He retains his Mr Nasty credentials with his parting shot of "Hate the outfit."

Ryan Seacrest can't understand why Melinda still looks so surprised when she gets good comments. He thinks she should be used to it by now. When he tells her to "embrace it, enjoy it!' Melinda gives herself a well deserved hug!
