| LaKisha certainly does a great job belting out Donna Summer's 'Last Dance' as though it really is her last chance in this contest. It's a near perfect vocal delivery, marred only by a slight flattening of a couple of notes in her lower register. But forget about that, this performance is pure, powerful, foot pounding joy. |
| LaKisha is on the beat, and she's also in the boots, which doesn't go unnoticed by the male members on the panel! |
- Randy Jackson tells her " I love the boots!... You did that like a true, fly diva right there. That was hot!"
- Paula Abdul notes that "Donna Summer is not an easy artist to start out with" but tells LaKisha "you did her proud".
- Simon Cowell loves the boots and thinks LaKisha is "great", but also tells her "you're 30 years younger this week".
