Rod: She certainly was Miss Electric. She's bubbly, a lot of personality.
Kellie: (Singing to Rod in rehearsals, Rod sings backing) ¯ Bewitched, bothered and bewildered ¯ Am I ¯
Rod: (To camera) "Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered"... probably better for Kellie because it's more of a girl's song.
Rod: (To Kellie, in rehearsals) I love the way you delay "Bewitched, bothered and bewildered." You could push that even further back.
Kellie: I can.
Rod: (Sings to explain, Kellie joins in) ¯ Bewitched, bothered and bewildered ¯
Rod: (To camera) This for her is breaking out a little bit and I thought she did extremely well. I was most impressed.
Rod: (To Kellie, in rehearsals) Wonderful darling! Give you a hug.
Kellie: Thank you! (They hug)
Rod: (As they break the embrace) Just eh, absolutely fabulous.
Kellie: (Smiling) Well you took a load off my chest.
Rod: (Distracted by the thought!) Well! (Laughs)

Randy Jackson: Well listen, it wasn't that bad. It started pretty good. It got a little pitchy in the middle there, because this is a very difficult song to sing. I don't know if this was my favorite song for you to sing. I don't know if it was the right choice. But yeah, it was definitely pitchy in spots.
Kellie: Yeah.
Randy Jackson: Very tough. Very tough.
Paula Abdul: Well I'm gonna top it off by doing what I always do. You gotta give it up for the fashion. You look exquisite.
Kellie: (Excited) Thank you! Ohh!
Randy Jackson: You're shoes are hot.
Kellie: (Squeals) Thanks!
Randy Jackson: Shoes are hot.
Kellie: (Smiling) Thanks.
Paula Abdul: I think that for me... I loved the beginning. You started off very vulnerable, an, an... it was like, I can't wait for your acting career to begin too. Because your face... the camera loves you.
Kellie: Oh thanks.
Paula Abdul: But it's... you started getting ahead of the music towards the end.
Kellie: Yes.
Simon Cowell: What?
Paula Abdul: Other than that, you got it going on. You got it going on.
Kellie: Thank you. (Joking) When all else fails, you better have great shoes, right?

Randy Jackson: That's right.

Kellie: (Expecting the worst) Uhhhh... Simon?
Simon Cowell: You know Kellie, the truth was it was a boring song. It... it felt... I, I... It was almost like you didn't choose it.
Randy Jackson: Yeah.
Simon Cowell: It was like it didn't suit you. You didn't even need to bother with the 'bewitched' and the 'bothered' did you? You could have just done 'bewildered'.
Randy Jackson: (Laughs)
Kellie: (Pulls a mock, crybaby face) Uhhh! I'm sorry.
Paula Abdul: No.
Simon Cowell: Wasn't great.
Randy Jackson: Wasn't the right song.
Simon Cowell: Wasn't great.
Kellie: I agree.
Ryan Seacrest: (Greeting Kellie onstage) Kellie Pickler!
Kellie: (Baby-like) Buhhhh!
Ryan Seacrest: Arhhh! (Kellie laughs) You nailed it in rehearsal!
Kellie: Ah, yeah.
Ryan Seacrest: You felt good comin' on the air tonight, didn't you?
Kellie: (Tentative) Yeah. I mean the nerves kind of get to you and I did kind of get ahead of the music, so...
Ryan Seacrest: Yeah, and on the show...
Kellie: ...I value their opinion. They were right, so...
Ryan Seacrest: ...it's not like you can go, "Hey, can we do that one more time?"
Kellie: I know. "Can we do that again?"
Ryan Seacrest: "Take two on that?"
Kellie: (Looking over to the panel) I wouldn't put you through the torture.
Paula Abdul: (Sympathetic) Ohh!
Randy Jackson: (Laughs)
