Constantine: So, I was born in '75, and I'm singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen. Total dramatic fun song, and listen, as a kid I was totally dramatic. Always dressing up and putting on shows... Always wanted to be the little drummer boy though, in the Christmas pageant. So I used to sneak into the coat closet and play the drum all year long. Finally I got my chance to be the little drummer boy. Man, I played the heck out of that drum and I guess I was a drummer before I was a singer. (Constantine laughs)
Constantine sings...
Randy Jackson: Yo, Constantine! Yo man! Constantine! Yo, all right. So showmanship, I'll give you a 10. Singing, I'll give you a 7.
Constantine: Thank you. Thank you very much.
Paula Abdul: Awesome. I think you've now proven you're the one to beat in this competition.
Randy Jackson: Wow.
Constantine: Thank you.
Simon Cowell: So you've changed your mind?
Paula Abdul: I, he's... He's grown so much and I just... I love it. I love the competitive edge. I love it.
Randy Jackson: Wow.
Constantine: Thank you.
Simon Cowell: Ehm, that was ahm... 'astonishing'.
Paula Abdul: Yes! Yes! (Paula jumps up and down triumphally.)
Constantine: Thanks.
Ryan Seacrest: Constantine Maroulis! He's never, ever used that word on this show. Congratulations, Maroulis. Nice one dude. One of the most relaxed people up on this stage.
